<p>PURPOSE:To record a minimum bead signal in a tape so that each traveling can be controlled, by controlling a traveling driving device to a stop state in accordance with an end signal which has been read out from the tape, when the tape is in a low speed forward traveling state. CONSTITUTION:A control unit for controlling the traveling of a tape which has recorded plural signal groups such as a heat signal of constant frequency f1, etc. is equipped with a traveling driving device 8 for driving the forward traveling of a tape 1 at a low speed, and both the forward traveling and the opposite traveling at a high speed of almost (n) times as fast as said speed, and a head 13 for reading out a signal from the tape 1. The tape driving device is controlled to a low speed forward traveling state in accordance with a signal of frequency of almost nf1, which has been read out from the tape 1 when the tape is in a forward traveling state or in an opposite traveling stage at a high speed, and the traveling driving device 8 is controlled to a stop state in accordance with an end signal which has been read out from the tape 1 when the tape 1 is in a low speed forward traveling state.</p> |
