PURPOSE:To maintain an ink viscosity almost constantly by a method wherein an auxiliary tank supplying a diluting liquid is provided and the supply thereof is automatically controlled according to a preliminarily set condition. CONSTITUTION:The recording is carried out by ink particles 11 injected from an injection nozzle 9 and unnecessary ink particles are recovered in a gutter 15. As the result, a viscosity of the ink 3 is increased. On the other hand, when a cumulated value of a counter 21 cumulating an injection time from the injection nozzle 9 is reached to a value as a condition preliminarily set by a using environment of the apparatus in a control part 20, a solenoid valve 19 is automatically opened to supply a diluting liquid from the auxiliary tank 18 and, thereby, a viscosity of the ink is lowered. |
