PURPOSE:To mount an inspection access port without being influenced by unevenness of plate thickness or ruggedness of ship internal surfaces peculiar to a fiber reinforced plastic further in an equally levelling state to a ship bottom plate, by mounting said inspection access port for a propeller from the outside of the ship bottom plate. CONSTITUTION:An inspection access port 4 comprises an inside edge member 6 having a transparent plate 40 in its central part and an outside edge member 7 to which the inside edge member 6 is fitted, and a flange part 71 is protrusively formed in the peripheral bottom end of the outside edge member 7. The edge members of such construction as in the above are penetrably mounted to a through hole in a ship bottom plate 10, tightened and fixed by overlapping the flange part 71 onto an external surface of the ship bottom plate 10 with a bolt 70, thus the inspection access port for a propeller can be easily mounted. And the numeral 41 shows a retaining member of the transparent plate 40 while 72 shows a gasket for holding to water-tightness. |
