METHOD OF FLOWING ELECTRIC CURRENT

PURPOSE:To contrive the reduction of various facilities and the saving of electric power consumption by winding an external coil by the required number of windings on an iron core whose upper part is freely openable wherein the capacity as a current transformer is increased. CONSTITUTION:The upper part 2 of a through iron core 1 is freely openable and an external coil 3 consisting of a flexible rubber insulating wire or plastic insulating wire is wound by the required number of windings at the primary side. A tested cable 4 is wound at the secondary side of the iron core 1 and the opposite ends of the tested cable 4 is short-circuited by a conductor to compose a loop. The opposite ends of the external coil 3 are connected to a power source through a voltage regulator such as a SLIDAC or the like.
