In a process for the treatment of nutrient fluids by continuous-flow heating, the nutrient fluid is heated under pressure and in one or two stages. The heated nutrient fluid is cooled and then pressure-relieved. The apparatus according to the invention consists of a continuous pressure generator (1) which is connected in series via lines to a first heater (2a) and a first delay vessel (3a) and then, if appropriate, to a second heater (2b) and a second delay vessel (3b) and also to a cooling device (4) and downstream thereof to a pressure-control and pressure-relief device (5). <IMAGE> |
