PAPER CARD PRINTING AND PUNCHING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To perform the pass issuance operation rapidly, by performing the print processing and the punch processing of a paper card in parallel through using the same carrying mechanism, in the issuing device or the like for the pass of a toll road. CONSTITUTION:Dots of a dot printer 4 and punching pins of a paper card punching device 6 which are provided between paper card carrying rollers 2 and 3 driven synchronously by a pulse motor 10 are arranged in a line in the direction orthogonal to the paper card carrying direction. Dots of the dot printer 4 are driven for every one step feed of the pulse motor 10. The pulse motor 10 is stopped for every constant number of steps of the pulse motor 10, and punching pins 7 of the paper card punching device 6 are driven during the stop time. Thus, the carrying method of the same carrying mechanism is served as paper feeding mechanisms for printing and puching of the paper card.
