Fluid cylinder comprises two pistons which are guided in a cylinder divided by a central partition into two chambers. One piston is connected indirectly to the shaft, and the other is fixed. Each chamber has a fluid inlet and fluid outlet. The cylinder provides three distinct positions of the loom, viz. top, centre and bottom, thus allowing an open-shed or closed-shed dobby to be obtained by varying control of the cylinder, without high conversion costs. In an example, the shaft is connected via shaft rods to angle levers which are mounted stationarily and connected by a link rod for driving displacement of the shaft rod. |
