PURPOSE:To make possible photographing an image in an X-ray region and a visible ray region and reduce the transmission amount of X-rays and so on by a method wherein a projection tester is equipped with a transparent glass face plate with specified thickness and a photo-cathode mainly made of PbO, etc. installed on the back surface of the face via a transparent. CONSTITUTION:The face plate 21 of a pickup tube is made of transparent glass less than 1.3mm. thick to minimize the absorption of X-rays and allow an image in a visible ray region to be penetrated. In addition, a photo-cathode 23, or a light conductive film is formed at the back of the face plate 21 via a transparent conductive film 22. Since this photo-cathode 23 is mainly composed of PbO and reduced to an evaporated film, it can form a charged image for the X-ray image with relatively high sensitivity. Furthermore, a signal electrode 24 connected to the photo- cathode 23 is provided, so that the above image can be taken out of a container 10. By so doing, relatively high sensitivity for the waelength in the X-ray region is provided, allowing the X-ray image to be clearly picked up. |
