<p>A device for constraining a golf club to swing through an arc of predetermined radius. It permits a player to practice his stroke while the radius and the centre of the arc of motion of the club is constrained to a predetermined value.</p><p>Essentially, the device comprises a club engaging member (3) formed by a pair of telescoping members (8) and (9). The outer telescoping member (8) terminates in a neck engaging ring member (6) the inner telescoping member (9) is provided with a mounting bracket (14) for securing the device (1) to the handle (7) of a golf club (2). The ring. member (6) engages the players neck, and the player swings the club through a stroke in conventional fashion.</p> |
