<p>PURPOSE:To save the amount of a fresh make-up oil, by recovering the oil adhering to the iron dirts included in the rolling mill oil used in a rolling mill, adding an additive and warer to adjust the concentration of the recovered oil, and reusing thus processed recovered oil. CONSTITUTION:The rolling mull oil, used in a cold rolling mill 1 having plural rolling roll group, is recovered to an oil recovery pit 2 and is once put in a dirty tank 3. The iron component included in the recovery oil is separated by a magnetic separator 7; the separated iron dirts are charged into a centrifuge 16; the oil filtrate is then filtered by a filter 4 for separating such foreign matters as wooden pieces, and the cleaned oil is put into a clean tank 5. In the clean tank 5, residual iron dirts are separated by a magnetic separator 8, and the further cleaned oil is again charged into the centrifuge 16. The centrifuge 16 separates and recovers rolling mill oil adhering to the iron dirts; thus recovered oil is put in an adjustment tank 18; an emulsifier, oilness improving agent, extreme-pressure additive, etc., are added by an additive feeder 19; after which, a water is added and mixed in a mixing tank 20; thus processed rolling mill emulsion of a prescribed concentration is again fed to a roll R and a strip S in the rolling mill.</p> |
