PURPOSE:To realize the stopping of a main shaft at a constant position with high accuracy, by using a resolver to simply control the stopping position of the main shaft within a specific range after mounting the resolver. CONSTITUTION:A speed detector 29 detects the speed of revolution of a motor 14; a speed control circuit 12 controls the real speed and the commanded speed so as to secure a deviation of zero; and a position control circuit 28 delivers a position deviation signal in accordance with the deviation among a main shaft, the present turning position at a prescribed part of the main shaft and a constant position where the prescribed part of the shaft should stop. The circuit 28 contains a resolver 21, a resolver energizing signal generator 24, a synchronous rectifying circuit 25 and a quadrant discriminating circuit 20. A waveform synthesizing circuit 27 produces a position deviation signal that crosses smoothly the zero level at the stopping position of the main shaft. At the same time, a stop position control means 28 controls the position of a grid point where the position deviation signal crosses the zero level. |
