PURPOSE:To reduce the load of an upper device or a center, by realizing a reading process through a slip reader and then performing a totalizing action based on the contents of process which is designated by a process subject read out of a slip. CONSTITUTION:Both a process subject and the amount information are extracted and fed to a register 10. The whole data read out through a slip reading part 6 is stored in a floppy disk 18 without intervention of a read area deciding means 8. Only the process subject and the amount that are decided by the means 8 are set to the register 10 among the information read through the part 6. Then only the part of the process subject is supplied to deciding circuits 13 and 14 among the process subject and the amount which are stored in the register 10 to be compared with the output of process subject discrimination patterns 11 and 12 respectively. |
