<p>PURPOSE:To enable curl removing of copying paper to be made always by constant force irrespective of the sizes of winding of the roll of the copying paper by providing guide members on the same side as the first and second conveying to a copying paper conveying path. CONSTITUTION:A segment roller pair 15, 15' are provided on the same side as the axial center of a supply reel 2 to a copying paper conveying path b. On the other hand, a small-diameter roller 16 is provided on the opposite side to the conveying path b so as to contact the roller pair 15, 15' respectively. Copying paper 3 having curls is first nipped in the nip position nl and enters the inside of the triangular space connecting the axial centers of the three rollers, thence it is discharged from the nip position n2. At this time, the copying paper having curls is prevented from coiling on the segment roller 15 by a guide member 18 and is led to the nip position n2. The conveying face of the copying paper is defined by the peripheral surface of the small-diameter roller 16 having the curvature in the direction opposite from that of the curvature of the copying paper 3, whereby the removal of curls is effectively accomplished.</p> |
