PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide expandable composite resin particles capable of producing an expandable composite resin molded article that has excellent retention of a forming agent and expandability, mechanical properties such as rigidity, fire resistance, and a high fusion rate of foaming particles.SOLUTION: Expandable composite resin particles 1 contain a composite resin 2 containing an ethylene-based resin and a styrene-based resin, a physical foaming agent, and a bromine-based flame retardant. The composite resin 2 is produced by impregnation polymerization of a styrene-based monomer of 400-1,900 pts.mass with respect to the ethylene-based resin of 100 pts.mass. The ethylene-based resin is composed of an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer and/or a mixture of polyvinyl acetate and linear low-density polyethylene, and is mainly composed of the linear low-density polyethylene. The composite resin 2 has a content of 0.2-5 mass% of a vinyl acetate component derived from the ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer and/or the polyvinyl acetate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
