CONSTITUTION:A grinding material 32 as a medium and rod-shaped works 31 are loaded in the spherical barrel 7 of a barrel grinding machine. Next, a motor 12 is rotated at a high speed to rotate a turret 4-4. The spherical barrel 7 that revolves round the turret shaft is made to rotate in its own bearing to work by grinding the works 31. At this time only corner sections of end faces of rod- shaped works 31 contact and slide on the inner surface of the barrel 7, imparting roundness to only corner sections of end faces. |
