Rotation of control knob 140 produces corresponding rotation of cam follower 152 in engagement with helical ramp 162 on member 160 slidable in piston 120 against the action of spring 170. When the transducers have reached the ends of their strokes and the volume of chamber 130 cannot be decreased further by movement of piston 120, overtravel of knob 140 and member 160 is absorbed by spring 170 until follower 152 engages an abutment at the end of ramp 162. |
