PURPOSE:To make locationing of a bead easy and improve its adhesiveness by a method wherein the bead is held by magnetism at the first stage by making a part of a fitting face of the molding of magnetic plastics for fitting the decorative bead to the side of the body of an automobile with an adhesive agent. CONSTITUTION:A hollow groove 2 for filling up an adhesive agent is provided on a fitting side of a base body 1 made of elastic plastics or a foamed material made of the elastic plastics and magnetic plastics layer 3 is provided on both sides of the groove 2. In this case, as for the magnetic plastics, for example plastics which is identical and compatible with the base body 1 and is kneaded with powder of a ferrite magnet is applied. And as for installation of the above decorative bead, upon filling up the hollow groove 2 with curing type structural adhesive agent the decorative bead is held to a fixed installation face through magnetism of the magnetic plastics layer 3 and installation of the bead is completed through age hardening of the above mentioned adhesive agent. |
