PURPOSE:To ensure the synchronism between the occurrence of an electron beam and a TV signal for a display device having a screen divided into plural sections plus an electron beam source provided at each section, by starting the working of each electron beam source with the vertical blanking signal. CONSTITUTION:In case each section of a screen is set a 16H period, a counter decoder 38 is provided to count the horizontal synchronizing pulses and to produce driving pulses (a)-(o) of a 16H width with every 16H period. The decoder 38 is preset by a vertical blanking pulse VBL. The pulses (a)-(o) are supplied to a vertical deflection driving circuit 27 as well as to transistors TR41(a)-41(o) of a linear cathode driving circuit 27. The TR41(a)-(o) apply linear cathode driving pulses (a')-(o') to linear cathodes (a)-(o) of a high potential in the period other than the periods of the pulses (a)-(o). As a result, the accurate synchronizm is secured between the occurrence of the electron beam of the linear cathode, i.e., an electron beam source of each section and the TV signal. |
