PURPOSE:To avoid the increase in the cost of processing, by providing a plurality of oil drain grooves and holes at the tooth bottom of a gear coupling 2 engaged with outer discs. CONSTITUTION:The outside diameter of inner discs 7 is made slightly small to increase the distance A between the outside of each inner disc and the inside of a gear coupling 2 provided at the side of a driven machine. Annular oil pockets are provided between outer discs 8. A plurality of oil grooves 12 and oil holes 11 are provided at the tooth bottom of the coupling 2. Oil supplied from oil holes 9, 10 is conducted to the oil grooves 12 at the tooth bottom of the coupling 2 from the oil pockets extending in the circumferential direction. High- temperature oil is drained through the oil holes 11 and both the ends of the oil grooves 12. According to this constitution, the depth of the oil groove 12 can optionally be determined depending on the quantity of supplied oil and the number of the oil holes 11 can be made small. |
