摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a receptor having sensitivity to light with longer wavelengths and suitable for a semiconductor laser printer by forming a surface- crystallized photoconductive layer made of Se-Te alloy contg. a specified percentage of Te on an electrically conductive support. CONSTITUTION:An Se-Te alloy contg. 2-20% Te is vapor-deposited on an electrically conductive support 1 in 2-20mum thickness and heated at 80-100 deg.C for about 2-15min to form a surface-crystallized photoconductive layer 2. Thus, high sensitivity to >=750nm wavelengths of light from a Ga-As-Al semiconductor laser printer is provided. When the charging potential is not sufficient, a layer of Se or an Se alloy contg. >=85% Se is formed on the layer 2 in 3-50mum thickness. By crystallizing the surface of the Se-Te layer 2, sensitivity to 600-900nm can be provided besides the proper spectral sensitivity of amorphous Se-Te.
