Medical puncture probe measuring device

A medical puncture probe measuring device for thin, sensitive puncture probes is equipped with a puncturing cannula which protects the puncture probe during puncturing and is provided together with the probe as an exchangeable unit on the device. After insertion of the cannula a probe advancing drive ensures stepwise advance of the probe in order to prepare a histogram. Besides the probe advancing drive for positioning of the probe on different sites to be measured, the device preferably contains a puncturing drive which inserts the probe and the cannula into the tissue, as well as adjustment means for adjustment of the puncturing depth and the puncturing site. The device can also be designed for manual puncturing.
