A description is given of a device for extending the tube of a Bowden pull. Seated in a fixed manner on the tube of the Bowden pull is an end fitting which, on the side facing away from the tube, has a spring tongue with a latching nose pointing towards the cable and having one oblique and one vertical flank. Pushed onto the cable is a guide bush inserted in a fixed manner, at the end facing away from the end fitting, in a holding device. In the region of the latching nose, the guide bush is provided with a corresponding toothing into which the latching nose resiliently engages. The oblique surfaces on the latching nose and the toothing are oriented such that it is only possible to pull the end fitting and the guide bush apart while their movement towards one another is blocked. Inserted between the end fitting and the guide bush is a compression spring which pushes the components apart automatically when the cable of the Bowden pull lengthens. Any such lengthening is thereby compensated automatically within the device by an automatic lengthening of the tube. |
