PURPOSE:To enhanse a sealing capability against corrosive gas by providing, in the central part of a casing, a valve element including two valve chambers spaced from each other, and opening downward with a diameter larger than that of the opening portions of two branched ducts and by displacing the valve element with the use of a hydraulic cylinder. CONSTITUTION:When a valve element 6 is tilted through shaft 6 by operating a hydraulic cylinder, the opening portion of one valve chamber 6a covers the opening 4a of one branched duct 3a and all circumference of the lower edge 8b of the valve chamber 6a is submerged below the surface level 5a of liquid 5, while the inside space of another valve chamber 6b is communicated with the inside space 1a of a casing 1 since the lower edge 8b of the opening portion of another valve chamber 6b is partially above the surface level 5a. Accordingly, one branched duct 3a is shut-off from a common duct 2 but another branched duct 3b may be communicated with the common duct 2. |
