摘要 PURPOSE:To make accurate controlling for following up of weld lines possible by controlling the oscillation center position of a consumable electrode automatically at every half period of oscillation in such a way that the min. point of time of welding current and the consumable electrode comes to the center of weaving (oscillation). CONSTITUTION:In the stage of subjecting base materials 2, 3 to arc welding with a consumable electrode 6, a minimum current detecting circuit 8 emits a signal P1 when signal of a welding current detector 5 attains a min. On the other hand, a torch 1 can be oscillated in directions A, B, and detectors 14-16 for the positions thereof emit the signals PD, PR1, PR2 indicating the oscillation center point, and the directions B, A of oscillations respectively. A changover circuit 17 outputs the signals P1, PD by changing over the same to either of the signals PA, PB with the signals PR1, PR2. According to these, flip-flops 19, 23 turn on a gate 20 by the time for the difference between both, detect the torch derections depending upon which of both is applied earlier, and change over a circuit 22. A motor 25 is so controlled as to move an oscillating support body 9 to the right and left with a device 24.
