APHN 8459 A chassis mounting device for a recording apparatus, connects a main part and an additional part of a chassis by at least one pin-and-hole connection. The pinand-hole connection comprises a pin formed on one part and a hole formed in the other part to receive the pin. The pin has an axial dimension less than that of the hole and has an axial bore which opens out out the free end of the pin. Into the pin is screwed a screw having a head with a diamter greater than that of the hole for engaging the surface of said part in which the hole is formed.
