<p>The radio receiver for use in remote control systems e.g. for door opening, includes a box in a number of parts. Two parts of the box form half shells which hold a set of pinions between them. The pinions form a reduction gear linking the drive from an electric motor housed in the upper part of the box, to an output pulley on the lower surface of the box. There is a radio receiver with its associated battery and aerial in the box, and a safety and control circuit controlling operation of the motor. The unit is supported on a right angle bracket with slotted holes allowing adjustment of the angular position of the unit. The modular construction of the unit makes mfr. simple. Two prepared holes in the side of the unit allow an electrical supply to be provided, and also allow connection to a security system.</p> |
