<p>The boiler (1) is housed in a casing (5) with end plates (7,8) and has a central burner (12) discharging into an open-ended fire tube (22). The gas passages are formed by a cylindrical baffle (2) concentric with the fire tube and closed at one end. The outer water jacket (4) contains passages formed by double tubes (6) and (29) with a helical winding (30) between them. The winding imparts a turbulence to the gasses. The water is supplied to the boiler through the inlet (20) and drawn off at the outlet.</p> |
