PURPOSE:To decrease individual error in measurement and to make the measurement easy, by detecting and processing the amount of descent of a spindle movable in parallel with the shaft center of a propeller and a rotary angle of an arm. CONSTITUTION:Adjustment is performed that a horizontal arm 5 comes on a measuring reference position S of a propeller wind 3. For example, when a spindle 8 is fallen down until it contacts with the surface of a wing 3, an electric circuit of a spindle stopper is closed and an electromagnet adsorbs the spindle 8. The indication of a display is set to 0 and a reset switch of the power supply is opened, and the arm 5 is rotated by a measuring rotary angle 0. Further, an end 8a to be measured of the spindle 8 is fallen down until the end contacts with the wing 3, the amount of descent is detected by a detector and the pitch P is calculated with an operation device for display. |
