PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of malfunction in setting of a heater position and to improve maneuverability, by constituting a self-control oven range such that a heater is moved and is located in a most suitable position corresponding to discrimination of a cooking menu. CONSTITUTION:If, through control of a grill cooking start key, a relay contact R1a is closed, a magnetron 3 actuates. After heated by high frequency to a given temperature, a device is switched to grill heating. From a change in output voltage of a gas sensor 11 after passage of a given time, a cooking menu is discriminated. A motor 14 is forward-rotated so that a heater 4 is located in a position being suitable for a cooking menu. This causes the heater 4 to be positioned at a most suitable distance from an object to be cooked, and heats it through energization of the heater for a given time. After a heating is completed, the motor 14 reverses to elevate the heater 4 to a ceiling of an oven, and the heater 4 stops being energized. This enables easy and reliable setting of the position of the heater for grill cooking. |
