PURPOSE:To reduce power consumption, by transmitting the output level of a signal transmitter as the normal value when the transmission information is available and lowering the transmitting level when no call is received after comparing the transmitting signal level with the reference level. CONSTITUTION:The level of transmitting signals given through a terminal (a) is detected by a signal wave detecting circuit 9 and then fed to a comparator 10. The comparator 10 compares the level of the circuit 9 with the reference level given from a reference voltage generating circuit 8. Then a signal transmitter 2 is actuated via a transmission controlling circuit 7 and with the normal RF output level to transmit the signal in case the level of the transmitting signal is higher than the reference voltage. When the level of the transmitting signal is lower than the reference voltage in a non-call mode, etc., the circuit 10 lowers the RF output level of the tranismitter 2 less than the reference level by several to several 10dB through the circuit 7. Thus the consecutive communication is secured to the station of the remote side. In such a way, fine control is carried out to reduce the power consumption of the transmitter 2. |
