PURPOSE:To eliminate the distortion caused to a sliding plate and to ensure the channel selection with high accuracy, by shifting both upper and lower positions of the sliding plate by means of a turning member that has a turning motion in response to the lateral movement of a cam plate. CONSTITUTION:This push-button type tuner is provided with a channel selection member A which is put slidably on a device frame B, cam plates 12a and 12b which move laterally in the direction crossing the member A and with a sliding action of the member A, a sliding plate 28 which moves horizontally with the lateral movement of the cam plate, and a variable inductance C containing a magnetic core 24 supported by the plate 28. A turning member 21 having a pair of upper and lower turning bars 17 which turn in a body with the lateral movement of the plates 12a and 12b is supported to the frame B with the same center of turning. The tips of the bars 17 are engaged with each other at the upper and lower positions of the plate 28. As a result, the member 21 is turned by the lateral movement of the plates 12a and 12b, and the bars 17 move at one time. This eliminates the distortion caused to the plate 28 and ensures the channel selection with high accuracy. |
