PURPOSE:To simplify the structure around an air cleaner by a method wherein a temperature operating valve for operating the vacuum motor of a suction air temperature regulating device and the idle compensator are constituted integrally. CONSTITUTION:The separated chamber 15 of the idle compensator 10 is communicated with the vicinity of a carburettor 4 through a pipe 17 and a bypass pipe 19 while another separated chamber 16 is communicated with the vacuum motor by a communicating pipe 20. The upper end of a valve 23 is connected to the free end of a bimetal 25 and the valve 23 is moved upwardly and downwardly by the thermal deformation of the bimetal 25. When an engine is cold, the valve 23 is being pushed up and the vacuum of the carburettor 4 acts on the vacuum motor 8 through the separated chamber 15, a clearance b and the separated chamber 16, therefore, a shutter 7 is opened and the amount of warm airflow is increased. When the temperature of the engine is high, the valve 23 is lowered and air in the air cleaner is flowed into the separated chamber 16, therefore, the operation of the vacuum motor 8 may be stopped through the communicating pipe 20. |
