PURPOSE:To provide a composite gear easy to work, more durable and preventive against noise by forming the boss portion of metal and the toothed rim portion of fiber reinforced plastic to bond and couple integrally both portions by bolts. CONSTITUTION:Silane system primer applied on the surface of metal 2 is heat treated and then bonding agent is applied on the primer and FRP1 (fiber reinforced plastics) to set and bond them while coupling them with bolts 3 integrally. Further, since FRP has anisotropy, elongated fiber sheets impregnated with resin are laminated offset by 30 deg. pitch from 1 to 6 for example to produce pseudoisotropy FRP1 plate by the use of methods of heating, pressurizing, setting, etc. Thus, difficulties caused by the anisotropy in working can be overcomed. |
