PURPOSE:To realize adjustment of balance of a rotary shaft according to its mounted condition by providing an opening part on a housing. CONSTITUTION:When a power source 54 is inputted and rotation of a rotary shaft is stabilized, a clamp 55 is released. Then a quantity of unbalance and an angle of unbalance on the left or the right of the rotary shaft 41 are indicated on a measuring instrument 46. The quantity and angle of unbalance are recorded through pressing a recording switch of the measuring instrument 46 and the power source 54 is cut to stop the rotary shaft 41. Subsequently, a point for as much angle of unbalance as indicated quantity of unbalance is cut off. If said point is on the right adjustment face, the edge face of a rotor 52 is cut through an opening part 56 of a housing 62 by means of a tool. If said point is on the left adjustment face, the edge face 57 of an outer periphery of the rotary shaft 41 is cut for adjusting balance.
