PURPOSE:To improve air-tightness by a converter wherein a nickel-plated layer free of phosphorous is coated on the surface of a package. CONSTITUTION:An electrolytic nickel-plated layer or boronic non-electrolytic nickel-plated layer 6a free of phosphorous is coated on a package 5. This layer has the small rate of linear expansion, so that there cause no crack and hence air-tightness can be secured satisfactorily. A semiconductor diaphragm 1 constituting a pressure sensor is supported by a mount 2, which is fixed to the package 5 through the layer 6a. The mount 2 and the package 5 are pierced by a pressure introducing hole 3. |
