<p>PURPOSE:To shorten retrieval time by allocating characters to be read to readout keys respectively, and selecting a desired key and reading and inputting its prescribed allotted character. CONSTITUTION:A microprocessor 4 outputs a key strobe signal to a key unit 2 to discriminate the pressing and kind of a pressed key by reading a key input signal. An address of a memory 5 is specified to read its contents. A display control part 6 is a sort of memory wherein turning-on/off data on respective segments of a display unit 3 are stored; and the microprocessor 4 writes a display pattern in the display controlling part 6 to obtain desired display.</p> |
