PURPOSE:To obtain an information recording medium which can obtain a continuous sound signal even in the special reproduction mode, by performing the recording so that the discontinuous points of sound signals of the 1st and 2nd channels are set at different positions on the track. CONSTITUTION:The video signal of the 1st program is recorded in order of sections ab, cd and ef; while the video signal of the 2nd program having different contents from the 1st program is recorded in the sections bc, de and fg respectively. On the other hand, the sound signal of the 1st channel is recorded in a section from a point (a) through a point (i) on the same radius as a point (h) and through the point (h) which is 1.5-field ahead the point (a) and in correspondence to the video signals in the sections ab and cd. For the sound signal of the 2nd channel, the sound signal in the section bc is recorded in correspondence to the video signal in the section bc. The sound signals in the sections kl and lm of the 2nd channel correspond to the video signals in the sections ke and fg. |
