PURPOSE:To prevent a cassette from being loaded to a tape device when a tape is not allowed to be drawn out of the cassette, by providing a recessed member to which a projected member, etc. of a tape device is inserted, and a member capable of opening and closing the members in interlocking with the operation of operation member. CONSTITUTION:An operation member 21 which draws out a magnetic tape 4 in a cassette 2 to a position corresponding to a magnetic tape running path of a large sized cassette and loads the magnetic tape 4 in the cassette 2 is provided. Further, a recess or a hole 46 which can load a projection member provided at a large sized magnetic tape device, and a switching member 14 switching the said recess or the hole 46 in interlocking with the operation of the same operation member 21 are provided. When the magnetic tape 4 is not drawn out from the cassette 2, the said recess or hole 46 is closed with the said switching member 14 and the insertion of the said projection member is blocked. For example, a tape drawout arm 14 is used in common with the said switching member. |
