PURPOSE:To make scans in an onward and a vertical direction freely in safety by constituting a reproducing stylus whose section parallel to its sliding surface at <=0.1mm. distance from the sliding surface of an information recording disk consists of a circle nearly on the whole and a chord of the circle partially. CONSTITUTION:The section of a reproducing stylus body 1 parallel to its sliding surface 3 at <=0.1mm. distance from the surface 3 in slide contact with an information recording disk consists of a circle nearly on the whole and a chord 2 of the circle partially. The reproducing stylus body 1 is made of diamond, sapphire, ceramic, etc., and a metallic thin film of hafnium, titanium, etc., is formed at the chord part 2 at the opposite part to the onward direction of the reproducing stylus. Consequently, the reproducing stylus is allowed to move in the onward and vertical directions easily, and damage due to foreign matter on a disk surface is prevented. |
