[Class 75 (iv)] In a source of light comprising one or more fluorescent mercury tubes and one or more neon tubes, all the tubes being arranged within a cylindrical envelope which disperses the light and is provided with means to avoid on the envelope any marked colour effects, as described in the parent Specification, the fluorescent mercury tubes are made transparent and the neon tubes are made diffusing. For this purpose the mercury and neon tubes may be made of uranium and opal glass respectively. When a reflecting band is employed it is arranged adjacent the diffusing neon tube. |
