发明名称 PAGE DETECTING MECHANISM
摘要 PURPOSE:To suppress the frequency of generation of page fault, by providing the periodicity for an objective page of a swap-out not included in a working set, in the detection of swap-out page of a paging system virtual memory system. CONSTITUTION:A detection mechanism of a swap page of the paging system virtual memory system consists of activating circuits 200-20N of a plurality corresponding to the number of pages constituting an internal memory, address decoder 100 activating an activation circuit corresponding to the page including addresses with memory access at each memory access for a prescribed time, page counter 300 having the number of page rotation corresponding to the page number, and a control circuit 400 calculating the page counter to the number not activated with the activating circuit represented with the page counter at page fault. In case of the page fault, the content of the page counter becomes a swap-out page to decreases an OS overhead.
