PURPOSE:To obtain a composite wire which is excellent in its shape dimensions, surface state and junction strength, by extruding and coating a metal whose deformation resistance is smaller than that of a metallic core wire, onto this core wire through a specified die. CONSTITUTION:While a heated steel wire 1 is inserted through a die 5 from a nipple 4 of an extruding device 3, heated aluminum 2 is extruded by left and right rams 6, this aluminum 2 is coupled with the outside of the steel wire 1, and is combined and extruded by the die 5, by which a composite wire is obtained. Thd die used in this case consists of a parallel part A and a tapered part B, and tape of the tapered part B is regulated to 3 deg.-30 deg.. |
