PURPOSE:To surely hold under pressure the ear end of a sheet in no relation to a thickness of the sheet, by providing both sheet holding clips to a pair of chains and clip opening and closing means in a turning part of the chain. CONSTITUTION:A pair of horizontally moving endless chains 1 are parallelly arranged, and many clips 9, holding the ear end of a sheet 10, in which a needle mateial 18 is protrusively provided to one of the point ends 13 further a receiving pad 19 of the material 18 is provided to the other to actuate spring tension upon said end 13,are concurrently provided. While a clip opening and closing disc 20, the lower surface of which is formed to an inverse conical shape to press a holding element 9a of the clip 9, is concentrically provided with a chain wheel 3 in a turning part of the chain 1 and synchronously rotated to open and close the clip. In this way, holding force under pressure can be kept almost uniformly in no relation to a thickness of the sheet 10. |
