PURPOSE:To hold the strength of two rotating bodies which clamp and carry a supporting material for an unfixed image, and to improve the releasing properties, by forming their surface layers of a mixture of fluororubber, fluororesin, and a good heat conductor. CONSTITUTION:A heat roll 1 rotates as shown by an arrow 161, and a press roll 2 rotates in friction contact with the external circumferential surface of the roll 1 as shown by an arrow. The heat roll 1 is formed by providing a mixed surface layer 4 of fluororubber, fluororesin, and a good heat conductor to the external circumferential surface of a metallic hollow roll core 3 to a 500mum thickness, and incorporates a heater 5. Then, a solution prepared by mixing fluororubber dispersed in water, 100pts.wt. fluororesin, 25pts.wt. nickel oxide or cobalt oxide as a good heat conductor, and 6pts.wt. hardener liquid is baked at 350 deg.C for 40min, thus forming the heat roll 1. The press roll 2 has a relatively thick silicone rubber layer 7 on the external circumferential surface of its metallic roll core 6, and consequently both rolls 1 and 2 have a wide press-contacting area 18. |
