PURPOSE:To unnecessitate to adjust a paper-cutting mechanism, by a method wherein the difference between a predetermined interval of perforated lines and the interval of perforated lines of a paper used is calculated by subtraction, and a paper-cutting mechanism is operated when the difference is reduced to zero, in the case of using a paper having perforated lines at an interval different from a predetermined interval of perforated lines. CONSTITUTION:The interval of the perforated lines of a standard paper and that of the paper used are inputted into a calculating circuit 10, which calculates the difference between the two types of intervals, that is, (the standard paper length, a)- (length of the paper used, b) and multipulies the difference by n (an integral number). The absolute value of difference (c) of the result of calculation is inputted into a counter 11, while the plus or minus sign (d) is inputted into a gate circuit 15, and the value set on the counter 11 is subjected to subtraction by a correcting travel for bringing the perforated line into register with a cutter 8-1 after the paper is traveled by an amount corresponding to n-sheets. A subtraction-strating signal from a controlling part 12 is inputted into a flip-flop circuit 14 to bring the circuit 14 into a set condition, whereby the circuit 14 commands a motor-controling circuit 16 to rotate a motor, and the gate circuit 15 receiving the plus or minus sign (d) outputs a signal (e) for forward or reverse rotation of the motor to the circuit 16 after the paper is cut. |
