PURPOSE:To make it possible to mount a specific OS (operating system), by providing a circuit, which operates the OR output between the least significant bit value of segment information stored in a register and identifying information, and a means which designates a segment of an address conversion table on a basis of the OR output and segment information. CONSTITUTION:A register is provided where address information for instruction fetch and its identifying information or address information for operand fetch and its identifying information are stored selectively, and segment information and a part of the logical address value in stored address information are used to index an address conversion table 20. An AND circuit 30, which operates the OR output between the least significant bit value of segment information and identifying information, and an OR gate 40 which designates a segment of the address conversion table on a basis of the combination between the output of the circuit 30 and segment information are provided, and a specific OS (Unix) other than the already provides OS can be mounted in the system having the paging function. |
