PURPOSE:To make raise of rotation smooth, by providing a motor driving idler means which constitutes an inertial mass adding unit connected to the turntable of a record player by a belt, etc. CONSTITUTION:When a power switch is turned on, power is supplied to a motor 10 and a plunger 11 for a prescribed time, and a motor driving idler 8 is brought into contact with the outside of an inertia adding fly-wheel 9 and is driven, and a turntable enters into the constant-speed rotation state. After the prescribed time, the power source is turned off, and the idler 8 is separated from the fly- wheel 9. The driving force from the turntable is transmitted to a driving pulley 7 of the fly-wheel 9 by a belt or the like, and hereafter, the fly-wheel 9 continues to rotate by the driving force of the turntable. Consequently, the fly-wheel is driven auxiliarily by an exclusive drive motor at the initial start of the turntable, and thus, the rise time is shortened. |
