PURPOSE:To reduce the invasion of heat due to conduction of a current conductor of ambient temperature side and a superconductive conductor of low temperature side during energization and non-energization by connecting the conductors via a connecting conductors having a plurality of coolant passages of small sectional area. CONSTITUTION:Cryogenic coolant is stored in an interior container 24, and a vacuum is formed in the space between the container 24 and an exterior container 25. Superconductive device is contained in the cryogenic coolant, and the device is connected via a current conductor to an external power source. The conductor 27 of ambient side is divided into a conductor 28b having small thermal conductivity and a superconductor 28 of low temperature side integral with the superconductor 28a, and the conductors 27, 28 are connected via a connecting conductor 29 having a plurality of coolant passages of small sectional area. The conductor 29 has a plurality of coolant passages having, for example, 1-5mm.phi, thereby inproving the efficiency of thermal exchange. |
