PURPOSE:The titled composition which is effective by putting it, together with a product in a container or by blending it with the product, obtained by blending finely divided zeolite with alpha-bromocinnamaldehyde, water and/or an organic solvent, and an additive, followed by granulating and drying the blend. CONSTITUTION:Zeolite divided finely into <=40 meshes (preferably <=60 meshes) is blended with alpha-bromocinnamaldehyde (BCA), water and/or an organic solvent, and a given additive (binder, perfume, colorant, deodorant, etc.), granulated and dried to give the titled composition. BCA is not easily desorbed by simple washing with water becaused it is extremely strongly adsorbed on the interior of zeolite, the composition has improved heat resistance, and extremely improved deodorizing effect by the addition of BCA. The composition can be blended with a textile product, wall paper, bag, soap, coating compound, plastic, etc. or sealed in a container of a precision machine, etc. for use. |
