<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the pollution of a glass plate (silica glass) by a constitution wherein a sample liquid light absorption tank and constantly adjusted pressure air tanks are made to operate so that a light flux from a light source proceeds straight, indirectly with pure air in air chambers as a medium, through the glass plate installed between the chambers. CONSTITUTION:As a sample liquid absorption tank, the one of flow vertical type is used. It is installed in the central part of an entire apparatus, and fixed and adjusted pressure air chambers 2 and 3 are arranged on both right and left sides thereof. These compressed-air chambers are prepared so as to maintain a prescribed pressure constantly, and a sample liquid light absorption tank 1 and constantly adjusted pressure air tanks 2 and 3 are constituted so that they operate to make rays of light (flux) from a light source proceed straight, indirectly with pure air in the air chambers as a medium, through a glass plate (silica glass) installed between the chambers. As the result, the glass plate (silica glass) for transmission is not affected by a sample liquid, and thus its pollution due to change with time can be prevented.</p> |
